Common Printing Questions:
Bleed must extend beyond the trim line and will be trimmed off during the cutting phase. If you want your image to extend all the way to the edge, bleed is needed to preserve the finished look and quality of your document. Generally 0.125” is needed for a bleed. Specific templates are available for various projects or our graphic designers can provide the layout.
High resolution PDF files are recommended; although JPG, JPEG, TIF, EPS and PNG are also used. Files must have embedded and outlined fonts with files flattened.
Card stock with a UV coating, matte, linen and natural are mostly used for business cards. A flyer, brochure or booklet is most commonly printed on a gloss or matte text weight paper. There are also many specialized paper available for different finished looks.
